We truly want to know your child. Through playful activities and meaningful questions, we will be observing the many characteristics so crucial for entering our Kindergarten program. This is not a test; the use of the term can pressure and upset children. Your child's readiness is indeed screened.
Procedure:
1. Please report to the school office approximately 10 minutes prior to your appointment.
2. The payment of the Screening Fee - $50 in cash or check is made payable to Our Shepherd Lutheran School. It is non-refundable.
3. A receptionist will then direct you and your child to the waiting area where you will be greeted by one of our screeners. Your child will be taken to the Library and will be gone appoximately 30 minutes.
4. Applicants will be notified by the following week regarding Admission to the Kindergarten program at Our Shepherd Lutheran School.
